Conference Registration
presented by the Bay City Western LEOs

Leader Dog, what an exciting venue, for the 2018 LEO Conference!  We are excited and pleased that you have made the choice to join LEOs from throughout the state at a conference where the LEO mantra 
"Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity" grows. 

LEADERSHIP is nurtured in four fun, exciting,  and energetic break out sessions moderated by enthusiastic LEO Leaders from the Western LEO Club.  Ample opportunities will be available for other LEO leaders from throughout the state to make their voice heard at break out sessions that focus on volunteering, leadership, fundraising, and membership. 

EXPERIENCE being led by a Leader Dog while blindfolded, experience the surrounding that breed and train Leader Dogs, experience the uniqueness and sameness of of LEO clubs from through the state.  

​OPPORTUNITY is available for all LEOs who choose to take the valuable information, friendships, and contacts from the conference to their clubs and community.   This experience will then grow into a treasured valuable LEO opportunity of their own.  The conference service projects will benefit Leader Dog and other needful communities,  providing additional opportunity for LEO service.

Registering for the 2018 LEO Conference "Making Leaders" is a 3 step process.  Step 1 and 2 is required and step 3 is optional. 

1. Please fill out the on-line registration for each participant to the conference. Online registration is below in this window.  Please hit submit only once after entering the information.  Each LEO adviser and chaperone attending the conference should complete the on-line registration. LEO advisers and chaperones must stay on site. 
 
2. Pay the $40 LEO conference fee through the online store.  A credit card is required when paying online through the LEO Conference Store.  Payment may also be made by check and mailed to: Jayden Jezowski C/O VGW,  P.O. Box 98, Auburn, MI 48611 by 10/26/18. When paying by mail, please list the names of all the registrants that are attached to the registration check and include the list in the payment envelope.  Thank You

3. Call Extended Stay America (Group Sales 877-701-3383 M-F 9am-8pm Eastern Time) in Auburn Hills at both the University Dr. and Featherstone Rd. properties for the night of November 9, 2018. Mention "2018 Leo Conference" and receive the conference rate of $71 for double occupancy.  Under 18 stay free.   ***One person over 18 must be in each room. ***

Register a car load or 2, or 3, or maybe even 4.  Bring your club's board or a cross section of your club.  Ages 12 to 18 are welcome.​ 

Cost: $40 includes...

• 4 Break-out sessions, service events, and Leader Dog experiences.
• Photo Op with Leo the Lion

​​What to bring to the "Making Leaders" LEO Conference at Leader Dog

• Please create and bring a poster that shows your club in action.  ​Include some of the service projects that your club has completed.  The poster is going to be used by your club members at one of the break out sessions to help describe how your club has served your community.  It"s a "Shout Out" for your club.  We will learn and grow together as a LEO community. 
• The conference will be completing a couple of service projects that will benefit the Michigan community.  Your club will be responsible to purchase one item.  Your club will be contacted through the adviser with that information.  
• Beach theme:  Dress accordingly
• Bring enthusiasm, energy, and a sharing spirit.  It is sure to be fun!
• ​Medical releases that you have for your LEO Club members in case of emergency.  LEOs are covered by the Lions liability.
